I had the pleasure of working with Robin Dayley and Dayley Photography for a fun bridal photo shoot I did to document (in glamorized form) my wedding dress shopping experience. The idea Robin brought to me was "Sex and the City-ala Carrie Bradshaw-ala Vogue magazine bridal photo shoot" From the moment I walked in to the bridal boutique, Robin made me feel at ease and this continued throughout the whole shoot -- she gave me pointers about where to look, tips on what looked best and compliments to keep me smiling. I've started telling everyone that I want a photo shoot each month as a self-esteem boost! Robin was extremely quick at getting the photos back to me, and I was awestruck by them. She made me look like a professional model that could be in a magazine, when I don't consider myself anything of the sort!! She has a keen eye for detail and made me look and feel my absolute best. One of the most fun experiences of my life.

I am an incredibly particular person. When it comes to a product or service, I want quality, I want reliability, and I want an accurate price. What I noticed immediately about Robin Dayley as a photographer was the quality. I love the lenses she uses, I love her composition, and I adore her angles. Her images are so lovely! The second thing I noticed about Robin is that she is not accurately priced... she is UNDER priced! I highly recommend booking her soon, as I know she will realize soon that she is not charging what she should. The third thing I noticed about Robin is her incredible reliability. Having used Robin numerous times now, she is NEVER late. It seems she is always thinking about you, your project and respects your time. She also gets your images to you very quickly. Robin absolutely met my three categories of standards. The last thing I would want to mention in my review is her presence. She is such an unpretentious person with an extremely calming presence. She doesn't give you a lot of direction, but her personalty is so calming that I feel comfortable doing all sorts of things. I don't feel like she is judging me or making me feel weird about myself, which is usually what happens when someone takes my picture. Anyhoo, I love Robin Dayely. I will continue to use her for all my photography needs.

Robin has been photographing my children since birth, and we love her! She is patient and always catches the right shot, even with fast moving targets. Plus she's affordable and travels, which is great for families!

Yes, I take workshops on occasion and also attend WPPI every few years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in high school, I was on the yearbook staff. There was a contest amongst my classmates to determine who would be the best year book photographer. I won! And from that point on I was hooked!
