Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Do your homework. Look at several providers, get referrals, check out reviews from customers. However, know that for most providers, you'll probably see just as many complaints as you will positive reviews. More often than not, the negative review is the result of unmet expectations. Find out how the provider handles negative criticism.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. One thing to look out for is hosting providers offering "unlimited" storage, bandwidth, domains, databases, etc. for low monthly cost, like $4.95 - $9.95. None of these providers are truly giving you unlimited anything. We offer the same type hosting, but we don't market it under false pretense. It is limited, but it is more than adequate for most people in most situations.

A. Ask about the datacenter in which the servers are hosted. Find out about redundancy and emergency or disaster recovery plans. Find out if managed hosting is available and what's entailed.
