FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is simple. I have only a couple flat rates for headshot sessions and a few add-on options.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. You contact us via phone, e-mail, or our appointment request form on our website. 2. We answer any questions you have and confirm your appointment date and time. 3. You arrive to our studio or we arrive at your location for your appointment. 4. The session lasts about an hour to an hour and a half. We shoot as many photos are necessary to get a good variety and until you and I are ultimately happy with them. We process your payment immediately after the session, or we can invoice your company. 5. Later that same day, we e-mail you a link to download all the images we shot (unretouched). 6. You review the images and e-mail us a list of your favorite images for retouching. 7. We have our professional retouchers retouch your images over the next couple days. 8. When your photos are finished, we e-mail you a link to download your final retouched images. 9. You're super happy and confident with your new headshots, and you refer all your friends and colleagues to us :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-educated in photography. I learned about photography from reading, watching videos, attending workshops, online research, talking with other photographers, and most of all getting out there and shooting and practicing. I am always reading and researching about new photography equipment and techniques to help me continue to improve my work. I teach photography workshops on the weekends and I actually learn a lot of from being in that position. Aside from studying photography, I have studied the psychology behind headshots, body language, facial expressions, and power poses. I am formally educated in marketing.
