- What types of customers have you worked with?
Everything from making the music to distributing the music. This involves working with clients to come up with an overall scope of work based on what they want to accomplish. Some clients just want to work on a couple of singles at a time and put them out to get feedback. Others might actually be working on a full project with the end result being them obtaining instrumentals or having one custom made for them, recording their vocals, mixing and mastering and possibly putting the music out for promotion and marketing as well as digital distribution.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be prepared to get an idea of the exact services that you as a customer will be obtaining from hiring a provider in this sort of business. Also make sure that you the customer is also prepared. Meaning that you have all of your vocals memorized or at least the lyrics with you to get through the session. Certain things as being able to be on count with the beat you are recording to is a definite advantage. You have to remember that you will be on a block time rate or an hourly rate so if you are not prepared, you are wasting hard earned money that you worked hard for. You are also adding to the time it will take to complete your EP, CD and studio sessions.
