Introduction: Well, being an eco-bartender is the rare in and of itself. While not all the parties I work are necessarily 'green', it is just in my nature to have a more sustainable event. In other words I did not just jump on the green bandwagon to try and make a buck. This translates into less waste, saving the client money as well as fresher tasting cocktails etc. I love working private parties as a bartender. We all have such busy lives and rarely take the time to just enjoy life. Usually the parties I work are some sort of celebration (birthday, etc.) and I love to see people enjoy themselves. Parties are very personal and hiring the right professionals makes all the difference in the world. I feel privileged to be part of the good stuff in life in this way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always perfecting my craft. Even though I have been a bartender for many years that doesn't mean I don't have anything else to learn. There are always new trends, seasonal drinks as well as the business end of things. And going to wine tastings, having tasting parties and checking out other well known bartenders as part of my job is quite a cool benefit!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Having a custom drink menu saves money as well as offers your guests the opportunity to try something other than their usual 'go to' drink. These should be based on your parties theme, if there is one. Organic cocktails make a statement, they are unique and much healthier for you and the planet. And they taste so much better! You and your guests will love them.
