Paws for a Cause Pet Care

Introduction: My passion in life is to help and care for animals and people. A month before graduating from Robert Morris University, I visited my cousin who lives in Florida. She owns a dog walking and pet sitting business. I remember thinking, why didn't I think of a business like this -- hanging out with animals all day? Now, that's a dream job. At that point, I was already offered a job at The Salvation Army's and WTAE's project Bundle-Up, in fund-raising and event planning. The program provides new winter outerwear for underprivileged children and seniors. From that point, I was able to see firsthand giving back to those in need. After 3 years of working for a nonprofit organization, I've loved helping people. I knew my purpose in life was to help those in need. Although, I disliked being stuck in an office all week, weekends, and holidays. I finally took the risk and resigned from my position, which was a difficult decision because I loved the mission. On the flip side, I wanted to finally live my dream and start my own business in pet care, but I still wanted to make a difference in the community. Therefore, 5% of your charge will go to the favorite local animal charity of your choice! The Salvation Army will always hold a place dear to my heart. As my business begins to grow, I am 100% confident I made the right decision working with animals. The joy I receive from each animal and its owner is priceless and indescribable. The affordable services I offer include the following: * Dogs - A 15-minute potty break - A half-hour walk around your neighborhood - An hour-long adventure to a park for a long walk and playtime - I offer overnight service in which I can watch your dog or cat at your home. - I offer dog sitting at your home and outside as well. If there is a time your dog needs to leave your home because you are entertaining guests, etc., I will offer a reasonable hourly rate. - Pet taxi * Cats - Cat visits are 1 hour. I will feed, refresh water, clean litter box, and play with your kitty. When you are away from home, I will bring in mail, water plants, etc. Please note: All services include fresh water and treats. Any other accommodations are welcomed. My first priority is your pet's happiness and well-being, which results in a happy owner. I treat all animal(s) like they were my own. All of my life, I have always had a pet or two of my own. Therefore, I understand your love for your four-legged friends. I currently own a four-month old puppy and two cats. From my years of experience with animals, I know every pet is unique and requires exclusive care. I will discuss your furry friends' needs, so I can provide excellent care.
