Introduction: I make sure I understand my students interests, goals and learning styles to customize their lessons and experience. I will tailor lessons to fit my students' needs whether they are looking to learn how to read music, prepare for an audition or are simply looking to have a fun, educational activity. I believe students can acquire a solid technique learning any style of music, not only classical.
I love sharing the gift and joy of music with my students. There is nothing better than watching them leave their lesson with a big smile on their faces.
When teaching Spanish, I love the sense of security and accomplishment my students have after reaching a milestone.

Our daughter started studying with Ms. Pino when she was 7 years old. She loved music and singing but was so shy - not only about performing but in school too. Ms. Pino coaxed her out of her shell, got her comfortable on stage (at first with the music stand as a buffer between her and the audience) and now at age 9 she cant get enough of the stage! It's helped her at school too - she can stand up in front of class with confidence and give presentations. Ms. Pino is wonderful with children. I highly recommend her.

Mariana is a wonderful person, she was teaching my daughter piano and Spanish for almost four years. We enjoyed having her in hour home very much and my daughter still miss her. She is very professional, talented, sweet, hard worker, responsible and always on time. Somebody you can trust.

Ms. Pino, or Ms. Mariana as our daughters call her, has been a wonderful teacher to our children in dance and in music. Her obvious care for children's development and intelligent instruction are 'Woohoo! As good as it gets!' Both of our daughters took several classes with her and still remember her and the songs she taught them. Ms. Pino has great patience and tenacity to complete lesson plans in a variety of environments. We recommend Mariana and would continue working with her if we could.

Grandma loves Miss Mariana. Grandpa loves Miss Mariana. Why? Because our grandchildren smile when they see her, laugh when they are playing together, grow as they exercise, and learn as they sing. She has been their introduction to three languages and a world of knowledge and fun. We are all lucky to have her in our lives.
