My 3 dogs adore Dan. He has been working with us for 2 years. Dan is conscientious, caring & always on time for their scheduled walks. I recently went away and Dan cared for the dogs and the house. The dogs were very happy & the house was in perfect order. I think anyone that hires Dan will have a very happy dog!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been in the animal caretaking business my entire adult life, either as a volunteer or professional while also working in publishing and public relations fields. When I was laid off as VP of a PR firm I decided to leave corporate life behind for good.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My employees do private daily dog walking; dog, cat and other pet sitting in your home while you're away; off leash dog exercise; overnight or "almost overnight (3x daily) pet sitting; private cage-free dog boarding; doggie day or evening care (including feeding, bathing, medication, play); hotel pet care; pet taxi; and more.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be leery of a sitter who works for a company and claims to be "independent contractor".
