- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly attending conferences and working with architects and designers who follow up on new an innovative design techniques. This year we are learning all about Xerscaping which simply means, creating a lawn that looks intricate and beautiful but needs very little water. It's fun to combine form and function.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to start landscape design when I was in my twenties working as a sub-contractor for another company. I realized that if I started my own business, I could provide more people with more landscape freedom than bigger corporations.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common job is a landscape renovation. Many homeowners of older homes want an updated and more functional backyard. We love turning backyards into amazing entertainment spaces.
