We are often asked, is this sofa worth the value to re-upholster? The question is a personal question to many customers because there is sentimental value. If there is sentimental value in most cases it is well worth it to re-upholster and preserve and or use the sofa. Get some great use out of your furniture and enjoy knowing this was your mothers, grandmothers or some other person of charm or love in your life. There are many other valid reasons to re-upholster as well. Here are a few ideas- The furniture fits well in your home It is well constructed, the frame work is far superior to that of new furniture, today. You purchased expensive furniture and recovering is cheaper than buying new high quality furniture You have been to the local showrooms and cannot find anything you like The quality of the fabric used on re-upholstery is much greater than on the new furniture you have seen It's good for the environment, instead of throwing out the old furniture you update it with new fabric and maybe re-styled. You have a nice antique that needs a new look.
