Introduction: I love seeing results from my clients and getting their positive feedback. One client recently sent me a text telling me people at work had been complimenting her on her "guns". I love hearing that stuff.

When I started working out with Tom, I had just quit a bootcamp where the instructor behaved more like a member of the military than a fitness coach. Tom was different, in a good way! He's funny, patient and switches up the workout enough to keep me interested. It's been over two years and I'm still sticking around!

I started training with Tom in October of 2013. I've never been overweight by any means but have been "skinny fat". Tom has tailored a training program to my needs and I've dropped 20ish pounds. I've never been in better cardiovascular shape either. He's friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and has been incredibly flexible given my constantly changing schedule.

Best trainer I have ever had. He always has a different routine, so it is never boring. He also pushes me to go hard and get results.

I've been training with Tom for the past year and have been really happy with the results! I have lost weight and become more toned. Tom is not like other trainers I have worked with- there is no intimidation factor, he is not judgmental and is patient. He is also a lot of fun to train with! Tom keeps things interesting by changing up the routine and adding different moves each session. It's also nice because he sends workouts for me to do on my own on days we don't meet. Tom is the best!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Bootcamp members purchase a 20-class punch card for $130 and it never expires. Personal training rates vary depending on the number of people working out together and the number of sessions purchased at one time.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I struggled with weight growing up and reached my heaviest in college. I decided to make some big changes and began exercising regularly, eating right, and educating myself in as many ways as I could. I started teaching bootcamp classes in 2008 and in 2011 became a certified personal trainer.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Whether it's with me or another personal trainer I think it's extremely important to work with a professional who can show you the proper way to exercise. Too many people risk injury by sacrificing form or by simply not knowing the proper way to perform certain exercises. It's also good to have someone to be accountable to.
