FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Any web developer who offers you a price (even a ball-park price) without first meeting with you in person and discussing your project is either ignorant to the process or they don't care. Either way it's bad. Don't ever choose a web developer without first getting a formal proposal written for you. We don't charge for consultation or for drafting proposals. So why not get one?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We've been doing this for nearly two decades now and I still learn something every single day. Technology constantly evolves, and too many of our competitors don't evolve with it. Though I strongly encourage them to continue not keeping up with it. That's great for us.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I pulled weeds and planted flowers at a neighbors house when I was 11 and 12 years old for two summers to save up enough money for my first computer. I then used every bit of my Christmas, Birthday and allowance money for the next 6 years until the end of high school to buy programming and design books. I've never wanted to do anything outside of computer graphics and programming. Well...maybe professional baseball player, but that wasn't in the cards.
