In my industry you deal with a lot of "shady" characters. Usually the guy giving you the best price is also the guy you trust the least. Maybe it's all the jailhouse tats all over his body or maybe the scar over his left eye. With me, I put your mind to rest when you actually can communicate with your contractor and not try to decipher a heavy accent. I pride myself with my work and shows. Before I got into construction, I was in my second year in law school struggling both financially and mentally. It wasn't until I took a part-time job with a contractor to make a few extra bucks. The contractor used me primarily for contracts and my ability to speak fluent Spanish. However, I quickly convinced him that I would like to get my hands dirty and learn the art of tile installation. A few years later, I opened up my own installation business and haven't looked back since! I get so much satisfaction when I see a project from day 1 and see it through to the end. A real sense of completion!
