FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do are brand marketing development and graphic design for companies of all sizes and types. This includes marketing planning, designs for logos, brochures, letterhead, sales presentation materials, sales displays, vehicle wraps, packaging, product labels, development of their company brand usage guidelines, company advertising guidelines, and whatever else is unique to their type of business. I also develop web branding, host and design the company website, provide search engine optimization, and organize their social media so that all of their marketing communications reflect an organized and recognizable image that consumers want to be associated with.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Customers should make sure that they receive itemized written quotes so there is no confusion about what services are being rendered and what materials are includes for that rate. For example many companies hide setup charges, typesetting charges, coding, SEO, and other production charges that should be disclosed because they are not included in the "basic rate" that you are quoted. Also, be careful of the low hourly rate charge. Hourly rates don't reflect how fast or slow the graphic artist works. Take a look at their portfolio and if you like their style talk to them about it. Ask if they designed the samples or if they were just the production artists and if they were part of a creative team ask what part was their sole responsibility.
