Introduction: I passionately believe that everyone has a story to tell. I am a portrait photographer who is working with photo editors, business professionals, and agency leaders; helping them tell the story about themselves and their clients. Known as a "people whisperer” for an uncanny ability to capture the person behind the face, I have a knack for making people feel relaxed. I’m easygoing and soft-spoken and that makes people feel less intimidated by the camera. It shows in the images too. I deeply believe in the importance of connecting with my subjects. My photography has appeared in Wired Magazine, The Scientist, Discover Magazine, and USAToday. I have worked with amazing companies, like Adobe, Apple, Intel, IDEO, and The Sak. I've also had the opportunities to work with many great fashion and retail clients. I help raise the value of small businesses, law firms, authors, start-ups, and brands; both big and small. Prior to my life as a photographer, I spent years in the trenches as a graphic designer. I have a BFA in graphic design from the the University of the Pacific and attended Lancashire Polytechnic in England. I enjoy hiking and exploring the world with my wife and daughter. I love to travel and covered five of seven continents.
