Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Hi! My name is Ryan Johnson. I have taught hundreds of students and have extensive experience teaching guitar and piano to complete beginners as well as people of all skill levels. I teach lessons out of my personal music studio that is six times bigger than your typical music lesson room. This means there are no other lessons going on at the same time and we have the studio entirely to ourselves for the lesson. Parents are welcome to sit in on any or all lessons for their kids. I enjoy seeing my students learn their favorite music and progress on their instrument. It is exciting to me to increase the skill level of all students that I teach. Seeing a student have fun while learning music is when I feel most successful! Call today to ask any questions and set up some free trial lessons!

I’m came to Ryan with no guitar experience whatsoever. He has a great method for teaching and is very patient. He is always prepared for every lesson and gives me exercises to work on by myself. I’m happy that I reached out to him and am continuing to learn.

Ryan is currently teaching my fraternal twins the acoustic guitar. The lessons take place in his home where he has a studio. He is a nice, young man. He is very talented and has been playing for about 10 years and because of that, I know he is well trained. He is easy to get along with and takes his time. He really cares about his teaching. My twins like going to get their lessons. And the most important thing to mevis that they are learning to play the acoustic guitar! He is a really good teacher and makes them feel like they are experts when they just started to play. Thank you, Ryan. Keep up the good work!

So far my 7-year-old son has only been to 5-6 lessons, but it has been a very positive experience. Ryan is sweet and patient and encouraging, and my son is enjoying learning the guitar. He can't wait to go to his lesson every week! I can't wait until he can shred :-).

I had absolutely zero experience playing guitar so I was pretty nervous to start taking lessons. From the beginning, Ryan made me feel very comfortable and has been such a great teacher. He is super patient and always so positive & encouraging!

I’ve been taking piano lessons with Ryan for a few months. I have a weekly 30-minute class. I’ve never taken piano lessons nor have I ever played any musical instrument before. It was overwhelming at first. The first step is always the most difficult, but Ryan helped me. He sent me online links for keyboards, benches and stands to purchase. It’s been a fantastic experience. Ryan is very patient and makes use of every minute of class time. He challenges and leads me into something new just enough so I have the confidence to succeed. Ryan fine tunes my progress each week. It’s really nice to be able to do something I enjoy without the pressure to attain a certain level of excellence. Actually, I am amazed at two things: the complexity of learning to play the piano and, at the same time, how far I’ve come in so little time. One thing I take for granted is that he always comes right on time and never misses a week, but I really appreciate it.

Details: 65 years or older • No, the student cannot read music • No formal training • What the teacher recommends • Yes, the student has a keyboard • 45 minutes • At the pro’s location • My home, venue, etc.
