Long review, but I have alot to say. Prior to lessons with Jeremy Howe, I spent 5-6 months practicing with a popular local coach who taught me unhealthy habits that led to the inflammation of my vocal cords. I was afraid I might have to stop singing until I met Jeremy. After my first lesson with him, I could tell a difference in the way I felt after singing - there was no pain. After only 1 month under his instruction, I landed a substanial scholarship at one of the best music departments in the state. I am certain I would not have acquired this position without his instruction and support. In less than three months, he taught me better (and healthier) vocal techniques, explained ways to achieve better resonance, and helped expand the highest note in my range from a D5 to an A#5. I was classified as a mezzo before I worked with Jeremy, but due to this range expansion, I am now a soprano. He has a beautiful voice and conducts his business professionally and logically. He is very witty and makes lessons fun. The only downfall is that he uses lots of technology in his lessons and sometimes it will malfunction. In the rare occasions that this happens, he will either reschedule a lesson or make up for the lost time, so it is never a big deal. I haven't had any more issues with my voice and the only reason I no longer work with him is because I am at a university out of town. Take lessons with Jeremy over the larger companies and take his recommendations for outside practice seriously and you will be impressed with how quickly you see improvement.

Mr. Howe has been my daughters music teacher for almost a year now and he has really helped her vocally. She enjoys her vocal training and the quality of her singing has exploded since being coached by Mr. Howe. He knows his stuff. He is also patient with her and that's important. I would recommend him to anyone who is serious about improving your vocal sound.

Jeremy teaches our 12 year old son tuba lessons. He is not only an excellent musician himself, but is great at teaching and motivating others to enjoy music. He is a very likeable person and has patients with younger students.
