Image by Ilka Makeup Artistry is truly one of the best. The reveal after MUA Ilka hands you the mirror is breathtaking. Your skin still looks like skin, just more polished. She uses quality products, so there’s definitely no breakouts! My most favorite part about my experience with Image by Ilka Makeup Artistry is that she doesn’t just start applying products to your face, she studies it. Making sure you as the client start with a clean face, she’ll begin to add the needed moisturizers and primers, seeing where she’ll need to color correct etc. I’m darkskin and most MUAs would leave me looking ashy, so naturally I’ve been hesitant UNTIL I sat in Ilka’s chair! 10/10 would recommend!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing makeup as a self taught MUA. I’ve always had a love for beauty! I was professionally trained through MAC Cosmetics.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My most recent project that I was fond of was a photoshoot for a nonprofit organization to promote stopping the violence. I provided makeup for a great cause!
