- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Here is my personal story .... How did I discover my passion? Why did I choose my profession? Why did I decide to become an entrepreneur? It goes back to the late 1960s. Well, here is my story. It was 1968 when I started my first business at age 12. I was a paper boy selling The Detroit News, a local newspaper. I grew up in the Jeffries Projects in Detroit, Michigan from age 3 to 11 years old right off the John C Lodge Freeway. We proudly called my hometown: the Motor City or Motown. We moved into the Jeffries Projects when I was 4 years old until I was I turned 11 years old. My beloved Jeffries Projects and my apartment building are no more. They no longer exist.
