Couples specializations include: internet and traditional affairs, sexual addiction/compulsivity, sexual dysfunction, financial concerns, effective separation and divorce, partner experiencing physical disability or chronic illness, and blending of families. Individual specializations include: individuals experiencing loss of meaning, sexual dysfunction, sexual addiction, sexual compulsivity, survivors of sexual abuse and assault, internet use that is affecting relationships, sexual internet addictions/concerns, individuals who feel out of control due to obsessive thoughts and anxiety, loss/grief, and individuals experiencing life cycle transitions (leaving home, marriage, child birth, divorce/separation, children leaving home, and retirement). Family specializations include: blending of families, blending of families, mothers who have a hard time connecting with teenage daughters, separation/divorce, and parents who feel out of control managing the family.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The most important aspect of choosing a therapist is finding someone who you connect. The therapist and client relationship is the most important factor in having success in therapy. I provide a 30 minute consult for free to assure that our therapy relationship will be a good fit.
