- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually ask for a 20 percent deposit two weeks before the event, other than that my pricing is straight forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I read news about new computer and software equipment for DJ's and recording studios and I have taken some refresher classes in broadcast communication to see what the younger people are doing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was a child I could hear a song on the radio and know that in weeks and sometimes months it was going to be a number one song. When I became a teenager I would DJ all the family get-togethers and hosted my first radio show in high school. I have always had a love for all kinds of music.
