About
I help you improve your communication and writing projects. I'm a stickler for ensuring the right message gets to your intended audience through the appropriate channel(s). Whether it be online, offline, or hand written, keeping up with the ever-changing world of communication has never been more important (or more overwhelming!). That's where my background can help you. I have more than 20 years of solid experience in writing, editing, journalism, and public relations. From blogs and social media campaigns to "old school" writing and email newsletters, my passion for clear and concise communication is unparalleled. Give me a call, or shoot me a message; I'd love to see how we can work together.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I help clients clarify their communications so they achieve their goals - whether that's gaining more customers, increasing volunteerism, explaining a hard-to-understand topic, or simply refining a resume or school paper. Communication is key.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

In this day of online transparency, make sure any communications professional you hire can actually communicate and has a record of doing so. Google her and ask for personal as well as professional references, not JUST samples of work. So many people have been burned by hiring someone who appears to be great on the surface (great writer, fat portfolio, etc), but has no people skills. Especially in light of the fact that so many of us are inextricably tied to our electronic communication tools. Make a human connection with your communicator.
