- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Individual lessons/consulting are $40/hour (with a minimum commitment of 12 hours). "Ad hoc" individual lessons are $50-60/hour depending on the type and distance. Group language training/cultural immersion classes start at $100/hour. Other related services start at $40/hour and are negotiable for large projects and continuing clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continually research innovative teaching methods, pedagogy, alternative approaches and the history of the language to be able to express these discoveries to my students.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to Italy (Florence) for graduate school to pursue Italian and Museum Studies in the birthplace of the Renaissance...there I immediately fell in love with this super expressive, overly dramatic and never dull language and culture that seemed to be out of a performance...I was instantly hooked and realized my true personality and love for life came out best when speaking and conversing in Italian...and now I see the same results when I introduce this beautiful language to my students in a collaborative experience.
