- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always taking online classes to learn the latest technology and techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got interested in photography when I was in high school. I got my first SLR (yes film, not digital, I know I'm dating myself) as a graduation gift. When my father passed away at the end of my sophomore year I realized that photos are the way we keep memories fresh and tell stories of the ones we love. I want to be the one to create those beautiful images that are saved forever.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a photographer that specializing in printing your photos through a professional print lab, not just putting them on a disk for you. You can't enjoy your photos everyday if they are on a CD and stuffed in a junk drawer. Get those images printed professionally and displayed on your walls!
