FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$75-$100 an hour This only includes digital imagery supplied. Prints or albums are additional cost. I also add in any extra travel time and gas from my residence to various locations. If another photographer is needed, that is an additional charge of $50 an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love working with new customers, since this brings an opportunity to meet a new individual and understand what they are looking for in a photographer. First, I share my portfolio, and ask them to share any imagery they have seen and liked from other photographers. I am very open to suggestion since I want to make each of my clients happy. Next, I discuss they're budget, and what to expect from me as their photographer. I follow up with a simple contract stating the dates of the event, price agreed upon and all locations I need to be present. On the day of the event, I show up early and stay with the client throughout the session, asking for feedback and making sure I'm fulfilling their vision. Once complete, I take 3-4 weeks for editing turnaround.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Undergraduate degree in Fine Art from DAAP University of Cincinnati. Graduate degree from Southern Utah University.
