My absolute favorite thing about my job is seeing my clients' successes. It is an amazing experience to look at a picture with my client of their body when we first started training and seeing how much progress they have made in a short amount of time.

I have been training with Jillian for the past 2 months and I AM IN LOVE! I have had 3 other personal trainers in the past but none of them even compare to Jillian! She understands that getting healthy and changing your eating habits can be extremely difficult but she is committed to helping YOU truly reach your goals! I have been doing the online training program and what I love about this program is the weekly custom workouts, the nutritional guidelines, and our weekly facetime meetings. Like I said, I have had plenty of trainers in the past but I think what makes Jillian's program so strong is that she is your personal cheerleader who also kicks your butt. She believes in you and will push you to the edge but she will never let you fall off. I feel like my other trainers never really cared about me reaching my goals, they just cared about getting paid. Jillian is awesome and if you are ready to fully commit yourself and make the change...she’s your girl :)

Jillian was very invested in creating a workout that was tailored to my specific strengths and weaknesses. She was clear And thorough about the basics of form, posture, and weight levels. The weekly schedule that she made was challenging but did not burn me out or move too fast. I love her schedule because it provided the right amount of rest during the week.

Jillian has the skills of an excellent personal trainer. She chooses specific exercises to work those trouble areas in the body. I know from experience that it works. After just a few sessions with her I have noticed an increased level of energy as well as muscle toning and weight loss. She is kind and encouraging, but also motivates her clients to keep working hard to produce results. You won't go wrong working with her.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I am a classically trained singer and recently completed my Masters in Music in Music Theatre. Being onstage and in dance classes, I know how crucial a physically fit body is for the theatre. Many customers come to me asking for muscle tone similar to that of a dancer and I am more than happy to supply them with the tools for that. I find that the fields of music and fitness are incredibly similar with regards to the dedication that it takes to make fitness a part of life and not just a short-term goal. Like practicing on an instrument, working on physical fitness yields amazing results over time and encourages one to continue seeing how far they can improve themselves.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    I believe that the best personal trainers are self-motivated and thus able to motivate others. Clients come to personal trainers seeking the kind of enthusiasm and encouragement that will make them want to continue with fitness. Trainers therefore need to be motivated to create programs for their clients that are personalized, challenging, and rewarding. In addition, trainers need to be personable. The role of a personal trainer requires them to be welcoming and understanding. The client should feel comfortable with their trainer and feel able to bring questions and ideas to their sessions that will enhance their training experience.
