FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up playing baseball and have always had a love for sports and the outdoors; just moving around in general. I knew I wanted to find a way to stay in shape the rest of my life and help others feel the way I do. I decided to pursue Kinesiology in college because I had this idea that I wanted to understand the body and the mind, apply what I learned to myself and know exactly why my body moved in certain ways or how my thought patterns shaped my behavior. "You must learn a new way to think before you can master a new way to be." Knowing that I can take my experiences, knowledge, and perspective and share it with my clients on a daily basis is very fulfilling to me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Before we even start training I'll sit down with a client and go over nutrition and establish a baseline of goals and personal stats. New and existing clients will receive a personalized meal plan tailored to them based on their age, height, weight, sex, body fat percentage, and activity level. We will establish a training schedule that includes the days we train together as well as any outside activities that you're interested in. Throughout the training program we will adjust the variables (training intensity, total calories/macros, prescribed cardio, ect) as need be to avoid reaching a plateau. I offer email and text support outside of training hours to help answer any questions my clients may have.
