Katie Sarno

Introduction: I recently received my BFA in musical theatre from the Hartt School of Music this past May. Besides working as an actress, I have spent a lot of time teaching and pursuing educational theatre. I enjoy working with kids because their passion and love of the arts is extremely genuine and as a result, quite rewarding to be involved with. I also help to put a production on its feet or even to just teach children a new song to give them a piece of creativity that they may not be able to get else where. I also really love working with older students as well. I think that one of the most important things to master is the art of audition prep. Most of the time, when you walk into that room, they know whether they want to cast you within the first 10 seconds. I have learned the skills to help you master that process. I am very current in the musical theatre world and have been a part of extremely reputable productions and concerts in the past few months. I'm a firm believer in helping people make connections and network themselves with other people in the business that can help guide them to where they want to be.
