Introduction: Hi, my name is Sebastian Kauderer. I'm an award-winning composer and pianist. I work in studios, film and TV, and I teach piano and music theory as well around NY.
I have a major in Jazz Composition at Berklee College of Music, where I've been awarded with the prestigious Herb Pomeroy Award for outstanding composition and arrangements, and I graduated with honors in 2007.
Since then, I've been recording albums and piano tracks, and I've been touring with many artists around the globe.
I'm an active film composer too. One of my latest scores include "The Secret In Their Eyes", an Academy Award winner for Best Foreign Language Film in 2010; "Border Run", a thriller featuring Sharon Stone that has been released recently; and a short film named "Stella" that participated at the Short Film Corner at Cannes Festival last year.
I just finished the music for "The Last Magician", an animated feature, and I'm currently working on a movie produced by James Franco.
I love to teach and pass my knowledge to the students and see how they build up their musicianship.
I can proudly say that many of my students became professional musicians, and now they are pursuing a career in music.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Sebastian
