Introduction: As a dance instructor and choreographer with 2 decades of experience, I have had the privilege of working on a wide variety of projects and with many different people. I have a ceaseless passion for teaching dance and choreographing that has guided my career and enriched my life. I find nothing quite as rewarding as providing students with a positive learning experience and witnessing the joy my students feel when they achieve their goals and especially, when they surpass their own expectations. For me, business is personal, and that’s one of the greatest things about what I do. Getting to know my students on a more personal level allows me to create completely customized lessons. I even make unique playlists created to the student' preferences because, in my experience, songs that make my students want to get up and dance starts each lesson with positivity and enthusiam! Providing a safe, nurturing and challenging environment makes all of us feel comfortable and able to truly enjoy our time together. I believe that dance lessons should offer an escape from everything else, providing a place and time where work and daily stressors fall away, allowing our most natural and creative instincts to thrive. And that's when we truly dance!

Lynne is an amazing teacher. She brings wonderful energy and enthusiasm to every class. She's great with students of all ages and levels and is always available if you have a question. Her passion for dance and choreography are obvious and you will not only learn in her classes, you'll enjoy yourself. There are a lot of dance school in So Cal, but very few instructors like her.

Studios may be closed but dance continues to thrive! Dance lessons offer a fun way to get moving and often provide stress relief! Regularly Offered Discounts: • First Time Student Trial Class Discount • Discounts for 4, 8 and 12 privates booked upfront Studio Rental Fee: In addition to the hourly teaching rate, if students do not have a safe space in which to learn and perform the style of dance being taught, the studio rental fee is paid by the student. (Most lessons are taught in a dance studio with sprung hardwood or Marley flooring, with a few exceptions based on various factors.) Studio rentals are typically $15-$25/hour, depending on the location and the amount of space and type of floor needed. Details will be provided when scheduling a lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial messaging, I offer a follow-up Complimentary Consultation that we can book via messaging as well. The consult usually lasts 15-30 minutes and gives you and I the opportunity to get to know one another better and gives us both a chance to ask any questions we have. The consult is usually held via Skype, FaceTime or phone conversation, but messaging works well too - whatever is easiest for you! If you determine that I’m the teacher you’d like to hire, you’ll be given a Discounted Trial Lesson (for first time students only) which is typically scheduled and booked at the end of the consult. The booking will include a follow-up confirmation with date and time as well as information on the studio and it’s location, payment schedule and any other details we’ve arranged. If you choose to continue lessons with me following the Discount Trial Lesson, we’ll work out the details, I’ll send you an invoice, and after the formalities are completed, all you’ll need to do after that is show up and dance!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts and Dance from CSULA (Magna Cum Laude Honors). Over 20 years of experience teaching dance to all ages and levels. IMDB credits as an actor, dancer and choreographer.
