- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is flexible, but it begins with an hourly cost. The flexibility comes if the task was too simple, in my opinion, to justify the hourly wage. In those cases, I will lower the cost or even bundle small tasks into one package.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To be honest, this industry accelerates too fast for education establishments and you are already behind upon graduation. I have 2 degrees, but I find that staying current on new programs allows me to see what the new capabilities are and how to use that to benefit my clients.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of what I do is logo design, but from there, I get repeat business for cards, forms, a web site, and so on. I know I'm doing things right when my clients continue to come back to me, and they do.
