On April 17th, 2015 15:32PST I received a letter from The Law Office of Kelly Ann Booth. In the letter approved by the Fifth District Court was so ordered by Judge Michael Westfall that my Attorney Kelly Ann Booth withdraw her representation from my case. At no time prior to this letter have I received any notification nor communication in writing or verbal that Kelly Ann Booth wanted to discontinue representation. (Note Judge M. Westfall has been transferred to St. George Third District Court last year in 2014. Not sure how or why his name is on the order.) My phone number and address have never changed, it has always been the same phone number and address on record with Booth Legal "31xx North xxfalo Drive Unit xx. Las Vegas, NV 891xx/702.9xx-1zz5." Subsequently at 15:35PST I phone Kelly Booth at her office (801) 364-6666. The secretary connected me through to Kelly who proceeded to tell me that she could no longer objectively represent me due to circumstances with her niece and nephew being abused by her sister's husband who now resides in prison. Kelly went on to say that she was called to jury duty in a much similar case as mine, and when asked if she could be objective, she stated, "she couldn't." Had I known that I would not have hired her. She stole my money and used an excuse to withdraw as counsel. Kelly offered to put me in contact with another attorney this day who would as she said, be better suited to represent me and take my case to trial. The trial was set to begin May 8, 2015 at 10:00PST. After several hours of waiting for Kelly to call with the information, I sent Kelly an email, text and voice messages asking for the following information: 1) All Copies of Files Relating to my Case including a Laptop Computer that has been in her lock up since August of 2011. 2) Name, Number, and Address of the attorney whom she wants to refer my case to so. 3) The motion for discontinued representation. 4) A summary of what we discussed on the phone to include her reason for termination. To date, I have received none of the requested documents above. Kelly Ann Booth refused to hand over my documents while trying make it hard for me to gather evidence to file a complaint against her. At 17:15PST I received a call from Kelly in which she told me that Rudy, a fellow attorney whom she has referred clients to would be better to represent me in that he has 92 trials under his belt, and the last recent trial similar to mine that he represented, the defendant was acquitted. She said she would contact XXXX send me his contact information include web address and go over the details with him, and said Rudy's cost to represent me at trial would be between $2,000 and $2,500.00. The actual cost $3,500.00 The last phone conversation I had with Kelly regarding my case was mention of a plea deal where two charges would be pleaded down to misdemeanors, and the other upon completion of probation the charge would be reduced as well to a misdemeanor. The Assistant Prosecuting Attorney however though wanted to accept the plea deal, said his boss was being tough on these types of crimes, and hopes that if he gets a judgeship that the next District Attorney may agree to our terms. Otherwise the last letter received from my attorney was back in March with trial date information to begin as mentioned on May 8th, 2015. I've asked Kelly Ann Booth to refund me the entire $10,000.00 paid to her for representation. To day, Kelly refuses to reimburse me for any and all fee paid to her and her office. April 28th, 4pm spoke to Rxxy that my case involved having child pornography on my computer as told to him by Kelly Booth. Immediately, I emphatically corrected him while continuing to explain there was nothing of the sort. Kelly is a liar, thief and a top crook.

Kelly Ann represented me on a felony charge I received in 2013. She handled my case with confidence and determination. Kelly Ann was able to get my charges dismissed by proving the officer didn't handle the evidence properly. I don't know what I would have done without her.
