Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: In a nutshell, what is so special about this mentorship is the individualized curriculum, catering to your specific skill level (even if you have never done this before!), your preferred genera(s) of music to work with, as well as your preferred Digital Audio Workstation (i.e. Ableton Live or Logic Pro). Because of the individualized nature of my approach with my students, the curriculum is not set in stone, and can be customized 100% to fit your specific goals, and needs. My curriculum also draws from some of the best teachings from some of the best teachers in the industry. Trust me when I say, you are in good hands. (Feel free to cancel if you find that this is not exactly what interests you, which is completely fine - it isn't for everyone; or, the mentorship does not help you in which you should address any/all concerns with myself immediately.) Keep in mind it is my goal to help you get through the daunting learning curve as quickly, and efficiently as possible! There are so many things to love about my job, but at the top of the list I would have to say that the constant ability to do literally what ever it is that you please, without limitations is a pretty powerful thing; likewise is the feeling of being able to interact with a crowd of people however big or small it may be, and to be able to lead them through a journey of sound, all the while controlling the cadence of the performance, increasing in intensity before resolving, and to be able to evoke emotions in your audience that the limited set of 26 characters we have available in the English language do no justice when trying to relay those feelings in standard communication.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, I have graduated from two music universities: Musicians Institute, Hollywood, CA, as well as Icon Collective, Burbank, CA. Furthermore, I subscribe to dozens of online resources to keep myself up to date with new software, new workflows, more efficient ways of accomplishing getting my work done, to the highest quality possible. Also, as to update all of my certifications for AVID Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Waves, etc, as an audio engineer/music producer/sound designer/teacher for the most current versions of each of the software programs, I am considering enrolling in a customized curriculum just to accomplish this, at Pyramind, San Francisco, CA.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone you can integrate with on a personal level when work is out of the question. Personally I look for students that I would be able to be friends with outside of music, because they're good people. Finding people you have chemistry with is a huge benefactor in being able to work together seamlessly. Also, I know I would not want to work with, or learn under someone who didn't have my future's best interest in mind.
