Learning Languages Fast and Fun

Introduction: Hello! Bonjour! Guten tag! Grezi! Hola! Goeden daag! "I had French in high school, but I only remember 'Voulez vous couchez avec moi?!'"; "I used to take German classes, but we just studied grammar."; "How am I supposed to know how to speak, if we never spoke German in class?"; and "I once took a Spanish class, but it was way too hard for me. I am just not a 'language' person. These are the sentences I have heard the most from people who were trying to learn a new language. Yes, it is hard to learn a new language with only boring school books and grammar. Learning a language should be something you enjoy doing without having to learn 300 words by heart that you don't even know how to use in a sentence. Here is another thing -- there is not only one method to learning a new language. Everybody learns differently and that is why, as a teacher, it is important to find out how your student learns the best. Have you ever thought about combining your hobby with learning a language? Do you like to dance, draw or watch movies? Believe it or not, there are so many ways to combine your favorite hobby with learning a foreign language, making it much easier and more fun to learn, and I am here to help you find the most efficient and fun way to learn the language of your choice! I mainly teach English, Spanish, French, German and Swiss German, through reading, writing and/or communicating. I can also help you with ESL/ESOL training. We can do Skype sessions to save time for those who are very busy. Lastly, I teach salsa dancing in any of these languages as well! Teaching Experience I have taught 3rd through 9th grades in various cities throughout Switzerland and privately tutored people of many ages/levels in NYC over the past 2 years. I also have several years of leadership experience, and I love finding new ways to make learning fun. Rates The rates vary from 40 to 50 dollars per hour, depending on what you would like to learn. There are group discounts and other packages available too; so just ask, and we can work within your budget!
