Let's Just Play Already

Introduction: Do you want to play in a band? Are you self-taught and looking to take your playing to the next level? I have had students as young as preschool as well as retirees. I learned in a very traditional and methodical approach, and when I tried to teach that way in my early years, I lost a lot of students quickly. Everybody learns in a different way, and I have developed an approach that changes with the student. I specialize in teaching what it's like to play in the real world, with other musicians not just a metronome. We have semi-annual concerts where you will get to play in bands assembled from other students/faculties. You will learn theory but through songs and in appropriate doses.
