FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to break down my billing with each individual request. Smaller projects can be priced accordingly, while larger projects can be billed hourly depending on your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing, I like to touch base with a client. Thumbtack Requests are great for making initial contact, but I find that the services that clients are looking for are usually more nuanced and need additional clarification. After we've discussed your needs and the ideas you've brought to the table, I'll generally provide you with sketches- few different variations of the ideas we've talked about. From there, you can decide which direction you'd like to go in and I'll develop that sketch, usually with 2 or 3 rounds of edits (I send you the proof, you make comments, I'll send you an updated proof). Once the final proof has been approved, you will receive a print quality pdf, EPS or web ready images (depending on what kind of project we're working on).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a BFA in Fine Art and have been working as a graphic designer for almost 10 years. During that time I've worked at an in-house design department, a full service advertising agency and in the pre-press department of a printing company. I've worked with small businesses, individual people and with large corporations in all areas of design.
