FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally all sessions are an hour. I don't limit to just that hour as sometimes we can achieve the portraits in less than an hour and sometimes it takes a bit longer. Sessions include 10 digital high resolution images and a print release. Some sessions such as maternity more files are given. Birth, Fresh 48 and Weddings will include many more than that and are specified in the contract.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss what they are looking to achieve for their portraits to see if we are a good fit. If they decide to go ahead with the session I send them my contract for them to review and sign and invoice them for the retainer fee or their entire session amount. Once that is done they are scheduled in. Between that time I am available to help them plan their outfits, any props they want and other questions they may have. The day of the session we meet up, we can chit chat as I get to know them a bit more, especially if children are involved. We have fun and capture memories.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of numerous mentoring sites where I can always stay up to date with classes and videos of the latest trends and how to create and capture better photos. Technology is ever changing and I feel it is very important to be on top of your game.
