Little Italy - Five Points Tours
Introduction: I give walking tours through the Little Italy, Five Points area of lower Manhattan. My grandmother grew up there, and my father was born there. I'm going to share the knowledge I've gained from 40 years of research in the history and genealogy of that area.
The immigrants who arrived here faced many difficult challenges. The journey itself was hard and often dangerous. Every wave of immigrants found ways to establish themselves in this strange land.

Marie is an invaluable resource to the community. Her knowledge of history and antics in Lower Mahnattan helps preserve a dying history of New York City. I've said so many positive things about her it's so hard to remember all of them. The more I think about it the more I'll come up with.
