About 3 years ago I stumbled on a flyer advertising a cartooning class taught by Sean Michael Robinson. As I had been an amateur cartoonist since the 8th grade I was intrigued
a friend at the art supply store I go to encouraged me to sign up, stating Sean has quite a following. I must say that after the very first class I was more than pleasantly surprised! Sean is one of the best art instructors Ive ever had. He is engaging, kind, and dynamic. His classes are challenging yet fun! Sean pushes you out of your boundaries to explore your creativity in a way that is at once exciting and non-threatening. I learned sooo much from Sean about drawing, inking, perspective, color he covers it all. My personal experience after a few of his classes was that I was very motivated to continue because Seans instruction and encouragement had given me the confidence I needed. This weekend I will be exhibiting my comics, watercolors and linocuts at a local festival and as I told Sean ~ I couldnt have done it without the little push I got from him! ~Stephanie Morgan
