FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into the world of event planning after I took on the position of Hospitality Manager at Binghamton University. It was there that I had my first major role in a huge concert production. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Planning events never feels like work to me!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
In the past, when I was part of a team, I did mostly concert production, festivals, and comedy shows. Now, that I am developing my own business, I do mostly party planning. This includes Birthday parties, cocktail parties, bridal showers, baby showers etc. I am also up for odd jobs such as garage sale planning. In addition, I specialize in Italian Villa Rentals. These Rentals can host weddings, or reunions! Ask me about them (it's a separate business)!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers knew how hard it is to get your foot in the door in this profession! I think they would be more willing to take a risk on an up and coming event planning company!
