Texas Real Estate Commission requires a certain amount of continuing education hours per year to remain current. We at M2 Real Estate Inspections far exceed that requirement so that we may stay current with the changes in the building codes and building industry.

- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Because buying a new home is not something we as Americans do on a daily basis, many potential buyers are un-informed of the process. Quite often, families will spend thousands of dollars on a new home but decide that a home inspection costing only a few hundred dollars is not worth the investment. Those clients that did make the decision order a home inspection were glad they did. Problems discovered in the various inspections included issues with the structure, foundation, electrical system, plumbing system or even appliances. Some of the deficiencies mentioned above could cost several thousand dollars to repair. Please do not balk at the few hundred dollars that it will cost for a home inspection to protect the investment you are willing to make in your new home.
