- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
OUR PRICES ARE BASED ON SIZE AND COMPLEXITY OF THE PROJECT. OUR PROPOSALS AND AGREEMENTS ARE VERY CLEAR AND CONCISE. THE PRICE THAT WE AGREE AT THE START OF YOUR PROJECT WILL REMAIN UNTIL THE END. IN CERTAIN OCCASIONS, THE PROJECT IS MODIFIED BY THE OWNER, OR BY THE REQUIREMENT OF THE LOCAL BUILDING DEPARTMENT, IN SPECIAL CASES BECAUSE OF UNIQUE CIRCUMSTANCES. WHEN THIS CIRCUMSTANCES HAPPEN, WE DISCUSS THE OPTIONS WITH OUR CUSTOMERS TO FIND THE BEST SOLUTION, AND WE OFTEN DO.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
WE START WITH CONTACT VIA A PHONE CALL OR EMAIL. AFTER THE PROJECT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED AND THE SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED ARE EXPLAINED, A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED. DURING THE SITE VISIT WE TAKE A LOOK AT THE EXISTING CONDITIONS AND DISCUSS THE OPTIONS TO SOLVE THE PROJECT, AND A PRICE IS SUGGESTED. SOMETIMES, ON OUR FIRST SITE VISIT AN AGREEMENT IS REACHED AND ON THE SAME DAY WE TAKE FIELD MEASUREMENTS, PHOTOS, AND OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS ARE CONSIDERED. A DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED TO START WITH THE DESIGN AND LAYOUT. THIS PROCESS TAKES ANY TIME FROM A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO MONTHS DEPENDING ON THE CHANGES AND REVISIONS REQUESTED BY THE CUSTOMER. ONCE THE DESIGN PHASE IS COMPLETED WE PREPARE THE SUBMITTAL PACKAGE, THEN IT IS DELIVERED AND AWAITS THE PLAN CHECK PROCESS BY THE LOCAL BUILDING DEPARTMENT. USUALLY THERE ARE CORRECTIONS AND THE TIME TO PROCESS THEM DEPENDS ON THE AMOUNT AND COMPLEXITY. 90% OF OUR PROJECTS ARE SOLVED WITHIN THE SECOND SUBMITTAL. THIS YEAR WE HAVE HAD 4 PROJECTS APPROVED WITH NO CORRECTIONS ISSUED, AND A FEW SPECIAL CASES THAT WE HAVE HAD TO FACE TWO OR THREE ROUNDS OF REVISIONS, MOSTLY FOR COMMERCIAL PROJECTS.
