I specialize in creating the wedding reception entertainment that the customer visions in their mind. I make sure everything is taken care of before the big day. That way I know what i need to do and the bride and groom can just relax and enjoy. Making people happy! It's the greatest jog their is! You get to listen to great music as well! I also like the freedom of owning my own business. But sometimes that's not as much fun as you'd think! haha

John was an excellent emcee and DJ at our wedding! We shopped around a lot when we were planning our wedding, and we found that Mack Entertainment was a great value and had very reasonable/competitive prices. John was great to work with - he was responsive to our emails, met with us before our wedding, and listened to all of our requests. He also helped us pick a DJ package that suited our needs. During our wedding, the dance floor was always packed, thanks to John!

John McNamara has DJ'd our company Christmas Party for the past several years. John always plays a nice variety of music. Dinner time music is soft and appropriate. He has a large selection of current music for dancing to encourage everyone out on the dance floor.

Working with John was great! Leading up to the wedding, he asked the right questions making this part of the wedding planning very easy. Everything that was communicated to him before in regards to specific songs and bridal party names, John handled perfectly! Song selection was great. He made sure the evening was fun and that the dance floor was always full.

I have worked with John on a charity event. John arrived at the specified time. He set up his equipment quickly and had everything he needed. The requests were done at the appropriate times and fit the schedule perfectly. He was cordial and professional. He is a top guy and would handle the job with ease.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Mack Entertainment was started to make extra money while in college doing party time DJ and Karaoke shows in bars at night. In 2006 he was asked by several people to DJ their weddings for them and the rest is history. That year he increased his song database, upgraded his sound system, and started working as a DJ doing weddings on the weekends. Today Mack Entertainment is still a doing weddings because that is what we love to DJ the most.
