On such short notice my hair and makeup artist was not going to be able to make it for our wedding, so we were able to find Vanessa, which makes me truly believe that everything happens for a reason. The weekend before our wedding we both went to her to get hair cuts, colored, and for some makeup looks to go over. She did an amazing job, so I was beyond confident for the big day. She wanted to start early on the day of to make sure she had time to make us look the way anyone should feel and look on one of their biggest days of their life, BEAUTIFUL. All in all she did more then an amazing job. And she's such a sweet person. I would recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for excellent work at a fair price.

Vanessa Rene is a true pioneer at her crafts and an immense pleasure to work with. I have had several hair services by her as well as a makeup demo. I have wavy hair that I'm growing out from a VERY short length and I've been feeling pretty stuck with what to do and how to style it. I inquired with Vanessa about a keratin straightening treatment and a semi-permanent color change to a richer brown. Her insight and knowledge on my prospective style was completely catered to what would look best on ME. It has been rare to find a stylist who dedicates their attention in such a way as to make me feel like an individual. Vanessa also offered me a short demo on how to color match and shade in my eyebrows- something I had been wanting to explore! Not only was my chair experience amazing, but I walked away feeling completely inspired and rejuvenated. I returned a month later for a cut/layer and a permanent color change. I honestly feel like a new and cooler person after each service with her!

Vanessa is amazing! I first met her through my best friend and decided to give her a shot. She came and did my makeup for my engagement ceremony and I loved her so much! She is so down to earth but also very professional. We then decided to hire her for our wedding and also to do my makeup for my engagement photos. She came bright and early even after working hard the night before. Oh my goodness and a few hours later I wanted to cry because I looked so great! I love how she totally understood what I was wanting and made me look so good! I then decided to take both my mom's on a day out to take her make up and hair class! The three of us had a lot of fun learning. She is a great teacher and I learned how to use all my makeup. It's so funny because when I go to Nordstrom and Sephora I buy all these makeup but I do not even know how to use it. She helped me with colors and so many techniques I did not know before. I've tried learning on YouTube but lets get real here, you honestly need a teacher to help you and let you know if you are applying it right. Now I don't have time to read the books, but I feel like Vanessa really has a passion for makeup and she's not shy to share it. She gave us her little secrets to help. Even my mother in law who did not know English understood her and was able to follow along with the class. I recommend everyone.. Girls.. To take her makeup and hair class. Let's face it, if you want to wear makeup then wear it correct. We don't want to look like clowns.

Vanessa... first time I met her was during the shoot of my new music video while in L.A., when she did my hair and makeup. WHAT A TALENT. It only took her a minute to determine the right look (that suited ME) and she was SPOT ON. And a few days later for a photoshoot... and she knocked it out of the park again. An awesome stylist. I consider myself fortunate to work with Vanessa... such a creative talent and a kind soul as well. Highly recommended and FIVE STARS.

I just wanted to say this woman is not only professional, and has an amazing work ethic she is very very good at hair and makeup. Numerous times an different styles. She has done my red carpet events, performances, shows, music videos extc. And any look or need she can do it. I don't know a lot of people that are versatile like that and talented. Especially keeping a client happy. I have booked jobs and videos just from her doing my hair an makeup! That says it all you want the best hit her up!! Omg she even has her own salon it's a one stop shop!!! Amazing five stars !!!

I attend events, fashion shows, conventions, and as many training sessions as I can. I read books by beauty gurus and so on.

It's something I have always wanted to do and pursued until I got to where I am today.

I get jobs all over the map. Print, film, commercials, music videos, weddings, special effects, beauty, high fashion, and glamour. I LOVE IT ALL! =)
