FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is a requirement in the State of Arizona to maintain your license. Additionally, through my insurance I am granted a wealth of knowledge and material that keeps me on my toes so to speak.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most people are hurting from their job. Bad posture, bad footwear, and other activating and supporting factors all lead to negative holding patterns, imbalance and ultimately pain. Most people I see just want to stop the pain they're feeling. My job is to work on the soft tissues of the body to restore that balance, but I also feel responsible to train my clients so the massage I give helps keep them feeling better longer.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
There was a day that I saw two different clients, one who had Hashimoto's Disease and another that suffered from Endometriosis. Both of them were surprised that I understood what they were going through and that I had a plan to help them. The confidence that I saw them display in me and my training made me feel really proud of myself. I really want to understand what a person's going through before I work on them. Every little piece helps!
