FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a Customer reaches out to me, I start by scheduling a meeting! This can be over the phone, but I prefer in person because it offers a more truthful connection, which helps me with my inspiration for our future shot. The meeting: This is the opportunity to discuss your vision, what you are looking for from the session, and a little talk about life in general to get a feel for who you are! If you feel like I am good fit for you, we will schedule your session, you will receive your welcome kit, and I will be on my way! You will hear from me once or twice between the meeting and the session to confirm times/dates/answer questions etc. The session: depending on the session you book this may vary, but typically session will start at your home, will last 45min - 2hrs. IF we are shooting in home, I will set up any equipment (If any) needed and we will start shooting as soon as possible. If shooting on location we will typically meet at the location of choice and shoot using natural light only. After the session: about 7-14 days after your session we will meet up to view your images! You will also receive 4x6 hardcopies of each proof to keep. From here you will have the option to place an order. Packages vary. You will have 2 weeks to place an order if you do not place on on the day of. After the 2 weeks have passed images that have been purchased will be archived, and any images not purchased will be deleted from file. The order: Once you have placed your order it will take 7-21 business days to be designed/ordered/delivered. All products come beautifully packaged, and hand delivered by me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found my passion for photography after my grandfather passed! He was a hobby photographer with an amazing eye! I loved talking to him about photography, and beautiful things in this world. When he passed, her left my a camera, and the love began! I started by taking film classes, then moved on to digital. I interned with a wedding photographer briefly and thats when I decided I wanted to start my own business!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I got the opportunity to shoot a Maternity session for an old friend of mine from High School! Him and his Wife live in Orange county, and we utilized their closeness to the beach in the photos. We started the session in their home and it was intimate and beautiful, and we laughed, and you could feel the emotion as they though about the future ahead! It was a truly beautiful experience! We then moved to the beach location and got to dip our toes in the ocean, and listen to the waves crashed while we talked about life. It was a great session, I was thrilled with the images, and moved by their love!
