- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I take classes at Georgia State University part time and I'm constantly studying for various technical certifications.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took a CompTIA A+ PC repair and a MCSE course and obtained my A+ and MCP certifications. I then interned in the IT department at CUNY Bronx Community College in New York while pursuing my associates degree in Computer Information Systems. After obtaining my degree I moved to Atlanta and compiled 12 years of professional work experience as a Computer Repair / Technical Support Specialist for HP, Avast, FMLS, IBM, Interland / Web.com. I also worked for McAfee interning at Georgia State University as a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) Analyst. After working for these companies I decided to start my own computer repair, technical support and managed IT services business.
