Mike is a top level professional -- not merely in that he is a master at his craft, but he's also an excellent communicator and doesn't require micro-management to get superb results. On the rare occasions where he doesn't have his normal intuitive grasp of the requirements, he's quick to seek clarification to ensure the results are outstanding. As a career creative director, I have 25+ years worth of art contacts. Mike is who I call first.

Mike is a pleasure to work with. He takes our initial ideas and runs with them, adding his creative touch along the way. He has always completed our jobs on deadline, no matter how many changes we make. His professionalism is second to none.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common types of jobs I do are illustrating characters and creating branding for my clients.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Know that while illustrators and graphic designers do take pride and have fun in our profession, it is definitely serious work. Any designer that says they'll draw something or design something for you for $50 isn't worth the time. Always remember, you get what you pay for.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I would like for customers to understand that illustrating and designing is very hard work and takes a lot of brain power. There is a lot of time spent researching and brainstorming the best approach to designing a brand or print design. There is definitely a rhyme and reason why things are placed a certain way on a page. It's to help draw the viewer in, make them feel comfortable and trusting of the company that they're looking at.
