- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a background in the fine arts, and I love portrait photography. Makeup art blends the two seamlessly together.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was the makeup department head for a short film called "Sink or Swim," in which I did "age makeup" for the lead character. I made her look 30 years older! The film went on to become an official selection for a Los Angeles short film convention in 2013.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Book early! Spring and summer are busy months! I suggest a 3 month buffer!
