- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
-Customer receives 2 free workouts -Pre participation health screening is filled out to ensure individual is cleared to exercise -Goal setting is done -Weight and measurements are taken and documented(OPTIONAL) -5 minute warm-up on cardio equipment -Dynamic stretching routine -Workout is implemented -PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation Stretching) is done on client reducing soreness and increasing overall flexibility
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Associates in Health and Fitness Technology - Certified through the American College of Sports Medicine - Certified through the International Fitness Association - Cincinnati State Certified Personal Trainer -CPR/First Aid and AED certified through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In high school I helped a good friend lose 70 lbs. After losing the weight he became an entirely different person having a positive outlook on life becoming more confident, happy and motivated! At that point I realized my purpose on this planet and that I wanted to make a difference in peoples lives. For the past 3 years I have had the privilege of helping people meet their health and fitness goals through the implementation of a solid workout regiment and healthy eating.
